Companies have targets, experience, hypotheses and expectations. So do we. They are relevant inputs, but they are not evidence by themselves.
RÄVIR aims to make assumptions visible, examine alternative explanations and match the strength of a conclusion to the strength of the evidence. A simple explanation is allowed to win. If the data cannot decide the question, that is part of the result.
We do not seek the desired conclusion. We seek the best-supported one.
